How can we help?

Make sure ReadBull is allowed to play in the background: iOS Settings → ReadBull → Background App Refresh does not affect audio, but Low Power Mode and “Screen Time” limits can. Also check that the Silent switch is not affecting media — TTS uses the media channel, so the volume buttons control it.

The default iOS voices are compact. Download an enhanced or premium voice in Settings → Accessibility → Spoken Content → Voices; ReadBull lists every installed voice under Voice settings.

Try the built-in browser, which extracts from the fully rendered page. If the site still produces noise, send us the URL — we maintain a list of cleanup rules for common sites.

ReadBull detects the language per track. Open the track’s Voice settings and pick a Traditional or Simplified Chinese voice explicitly; that choice is remembered for the track.

Delete the playlists you no longer need, or delete the app. ReadBull stores all data on your device only, so removing the app removes everything.

Install the ReadBull Clipper for Chrome, clip a few pages, then either “Copy to clipboard” (and choose New → Copied text in ReadBull) or “Show QR” (and scan from New → Scan QR).

Turn on Developer mode in the top-right corner of chrome://extensions first.

Universal Clipboard needs both devices signed in to the same Apple ID, with Bluetooth and Wi-Fi on and Handoff enabled. Paste within a couple of minutes. If it still fails, use the QR code instead.

That is expected for large batches: it loops through the fragments until ReadBull has collected them all. Hold the phone steady about 20 cm from the screen.

Some pages (PDF viewers, logged-in web apps) do not expose article text. Select the text you want and use “Clip selected text” from the right-click menu.
