Import from almost anywhere

ReadBull extracts the readable text and drops the rest — menus, ads, comments.

Built-in browser. Browse to any page and tap “Add this page”. ReadBull uses Mozilla’s Readability to extract the article body — the same algorithm behind Safari Reader.
Serial novels. ReadBull detects “next chapter” links, so you can add a chapter with one tap and catch up on a whole series automatically.
Files. Open EPUB, TXT, PDF, DOCX, and HTML from the Files app or any other app. TXT files are split into chapters automatically.
Clipboard and typed text. Paste a link or a block of text. A copied link is picked up automatically when you open the app.
From your computer. Clip articles in Chrome with the ReadBull Clipper and send them all at once via clipboard or QR code.

Listen like a podcast

Built on Apple’s speech engine, so playback is offline, free, and available in dozens of languages.

Background playback. Keep listening with the screen locked. Play, pause, and skip from the lock screen, Control Centre, or your headphones.
Word-by-word highlighting. Follow along in the reader view. Tap any paragraph to jump there.
Speed and voices. Adjust rate and pitch; pick any downloaded Apple voice, including enhanced and premium ones.
Mixed languages. English words inside Chinese text (and vice versa) are read with the right voice.
Sleep timer. Stop after a number of minutes or at the end of the chapter.

Organise long reads

Playlists, progress, and an inbox for everything that arrives from elsewhere.

Playlists. Group tracks the way you like — one playlist per novel, one for news, one for notes. Drag to reorder.
Progress you can trust. Every track remembers where you stopped. Playlists show read / total counts and estimated remaining time.
Inbox. Clips sent from the Chrome extension land in a dedicated inbox and can be moved anywhere.

Is ReadBull free?

Yes. Every feature is free, with no in-app purchases and no ads. See the pricing page for details.

Which voices does it use?

ReadBull uses the voices built into iOS. Higher-quality voices can be downloaded in Settings → Accessibility → Spoken Content → Voices, and they will appear in ReadBull automatically.

Why did a page import with the wrong text?

Some sites render their content with JavaScript or split articles across several pages. Try the built-in browser instead of “copied link” — it extracts from the page as you see it. If it still fails, send us the URL through the support form.

Does it work offline?

Yes. Playback is entirely on-device. You only need a connection to fetch new pages.

Does it sync between devices?

Not yet. ReadBull stores everything locally and does not use iCloud. Sync is on our list, but only in a form that keeps your content out of our hands.
